Настоящая причина того, почему никто не может превзойти Google

google-it31.gif Вот наткнулся на весьма интересную точку зрения. Наверное не я один хотя бы раз задумывался над вопросом, “Почему Google так популярен, почему он лучший и т.д.?” поразмыслив, находил достаточно много как объективных, так и субъективных причин.

Среди прочих есть и такая, какую разделяет со мной и Nathania Johnson, чью статью я и привожу ниже. И хотя именно этот пример больше подходит американцам, англичанам и всем тем, кто говорит на английском, смысл его понятен и нам.

Когда доходит до того, чтоб на деле оказаться лучше Google, многие конкуренты пытаются достичь, как они это называют, лучших результатов, чем у Google. Будь то индексация триллионов страниц, улучшеный смысловой поиск или использование социального поиска - каждый из конкурентов пытается найти свое собственное Уникальное Предложение на Продажу.

Я провел много времени, рызмышляя по этому поводу, и пришел к выводу, что технологии или финансовая поддержка тут ни при чем. Реальная причина того, почему никто не может обойти Google кроется в названии.

Подумайте об этом. Ведь довольно просто и приемлемо сказать - “Google it”. Я сам говорю это моим детям. Несмотря на то, что в самом Google не любят, когда их бренд используется как глагол, мы делаем это постоянно. Такое случается даже в кино!

Но если бы я сказал сказать “Cuil it,” это, конечно же, прозвучало бы как “Cool it.” А в некоторых культурах это вообще звучит вызывающе. Как будто кто то слишком напряжен, и вы советуете расслабиться.

И Cuil не единственный поисковик, у кого такая проблема. Microsoft даже не нужно покупать Yahoo, им просто нужно придумать название по лучше для своего поисковика. Или они действительно думают, что кто действительно собирается “Live Search it”!?!?!

Я не собираюсь “Mahalo it” или “Wikia it”, или даже “Lycos it.”

Конечно, я бы мог сказать: “Посмотри на hakia”, - но ведь это так много слогов!

Нет, дорогие читатели, единственный способ превзойти Google заключается в том, чтобы появиться с еще более классным именем. Так что дерзайте…

    Для русского языка это не так актуально. У нас самый популярный поиск - Яндекс. Но никто же не использует слово “яндекс” как глагол. Хотя многие уже говорят “гуглить” вместо “искать”.

    Есть и в гугле и в яндекасе свои плюсы и минусы, например гугль быстрее намного хавает страницы, но зато в яндексе больше русских сайтов найти можно чем в гугле по тому же запросу

    Гугл уже настолько прочно вошел в нашу психологи, что его оттуда уже никакой палкой не выбьешь. Все дело в простом и адекватном названии, и результатах, реалmys[ результатах поиска. Я имею в виду, что большинство из нас находят здесь именно то, что ищут.

    Тогда как объяснить такую популярность яндекса в России. Чем хорошо это название? Да ни чем. И ищет он кое как. Но люди им пользуются и будут пользоваться потому, что привыкли и плевать хотели что у гугла название круче и что он ищет на порядок лучше.

    Не могу согласиться со статьей. Название конечно важно, но оно не определяющее. Гугл впереди, потому что он применяет самые передовые технологии. Потому что он реально удобнее. именно поэтому он и окажется впереди планеты всей =)

    Согласен со многими отписавшимися, пока яндекс выделуется - гугл совершенствуется. Лично сам уже как года 3 в первую очередь ищу в гугле и только в крайних случаях в яндексе

    Странная позиция название конечно играет роль но ненастолько лично мне проще сказать яшка, есть великая оперная певица Т. Шмыга, когда она начинала карьеру, то спросила у худ рука, не стоит ли ей взять псевдоним из-за не благозвучной фамилии, на что тот ответил ей, что она должна сделать свою фамилию благозвучной при упоминании которой будут трепетать любителм оперы и ведь получилось!

    Да и вообще сколько людей работают в яндексе сколько в гугле?
    к тому же гугл знает много об удобном и функциональном интерфейсе… чего стоит гугл андроид и разработки в “сфере” интерфейсы будущего…
    Английские страницы можно сразу посмотреть под машинным переводом…
    Единственное что не нравиться что нельзя настроить главную страницу гугла под себя… хотя я уверен что я мало погуглил…

    Гуггл вещь прекрасная, но в России самый распространённый поисковик это яндекс. Лично я считаю гуггл альтернативным поисковиком, потому что залезаю в него только в том случае, если не хочу найти что то очень похожее, что то, что уже скачали мои друзья. Возможно гуггл захватил пол интернета,но я считаю в основном благодаря тому, что им гораздо проще пользоваться с помощью мобильного телефона.

    Почти уверен что все это фигня. Для русских это не так актуально. Почему Гугл?! ) Я бы ответил так: “Потому что Гугл. Просто Гугл”. Он прост и приятен, + огромное количество всяких фишек и наворотов в тоже время. Вот посмотрите к примеру на Яндекс. Куча рекламы, ненужных кнопок и т.д.

    Господа, а Вы не замечали что наиболее релевантная выдача у Рамблера?! Специфические (профессиональные, узко-тематические….) лучше искать именно рамблером, да и для подбора слов он показывает правдивые данные а не то что вордстат… Одно плохо на Украине пользуются Рамблером 5% и оценить слова по подбору в рамблере нереально… А гугл на самом деле на голову выше остальных поисковиков.
