Длинные урлы = спам?

Интересная статья появилась на www.seroundtable.com.
Тема не сегодня придуманная, но всегда актуальная.

Уверен, что вы видели такие урлы:
www.domain.com/4-star-hotel-in-barcelona-spain.php.

Вопрос заключается в следующем: это тактика, которую следует считать признаком спама?

Не обязательно, если судить по теме на High Rankings Forum. С другой стороны, если бы урл был таким:
www.domain.com/4-star-hotel-apartment-penthouse-keyword4-keyword5-keyword6-in-barcelona.php,
это бы точно вызвало вопросы. Кроме того, когда думаешь обо всем этом, конечно, если только не настроить Permalinks в WordPress, то тысячи таких длинных урлов появляются каждый день. (Подсказка: короткие адреса легче запомнить и набрать.)

На Cre8asite Forums, обсуждается вопрос о дефисе в URL-ах. Что лучше: дефис или подчеркивание. Возвращаясь к обсуждению на High Rankings Forum, дефисы там являются стандартным разделителем, конечно, если это может свидетельствовать об общепринятости данного явления, но на самом деле это не играет особо важной роли.

Но если дело доходит до доменного имени, то, безусловно, намного проще (для вас) выбрать то, в котором нет дефиса, для пользователей такой домен легче запомнить. К тому же пользователи предпочли бы не набирать тире, к тому же это требует от них дополнительных движений.
Лень и здесь дает о себе знать? :)

Насчет утверждения о том, что лучше выбирать домен без разделителей, я соглашусь от части. Да, это так для коротких названий, но для длинных или тех в которых не сразу и поймеш, из каких слов оно состоит, дефис лучше оставить.

    “(Подсказка: короткие адреса легче запомнить и набрать.)” … ну не набирают пользователи адреса старниц в браузере никогда, поэтому все равно если они будут прописью. Плюс в том, что сразу понятно о чем речь будет на данной странице, когда она написана прописью.

    По поводу адресов - в длинном названии есть тоже свои плюсы, по урлу можно понять о чем страница не открывая ее, а это удобно. И правильно написано про WorldPress, там же тоже можно задать формировать адреса по теме. Сдается мне, что все эти идеи, ни что иное, как фейки для создания трафика с элементами продвижения. Вот бы тоже придумать что нибудь из ряда вон, чтобы это всех задело до мировых обсуждений!
