Захотелось почему-то поднять проблему тестимониалов, которая заключается в том, что большинство сайтов, которые публикуют у себя тестимониалы делают это неправильно (или не совсем правильно).
Для справки: Тестимониал (от англ. “testimonial” — характеристика, рекомендательное письмо) — попросту говоря — хвалебный отзыв от вашего клиента/партнера о вашей деятельности/продуктах/услугах, который размещается на сайте.
Тестимониалы, как правило, размещают клиенты компании (если это b2c ориентированная компания) или ее партнеры/аффилиаты (в случае с b2b компаниями), хоть это и не обязательно.
После посещения очередного сайта с неудачными тестимониалами, я решил написать несколько правил, которыми нужно можно руководствоваться, если вы решите сделать (или переделать) секцию тестимониалов у себя на сайте. Пусть мои правила вышли где-то не совсем обоснованными и спорными, но, учитывая практически полное отсутствие каких-либо материалов по этой теме в Рунете сегодня, я могу смело претендовать на новаторство 
Итак…
Основная цель тестимониалов — показать людям, которые в первый раз попали на ваш сайт или же хотят стать вашим клиентом или партнером мнение других людей об вашей компании. Отсюда и первое правило:
- Тестимониалы должны быть информативными, они должны предугадывать вопросы тех, кто будет их читать, и по возможности отвечать на них.
Идем дальше… так как у разных людей могут возникнуть разные вопросы, то лучше всего разместить несколько разных тестимониалов, который будут “отвечать” на эти разные вопросы. Разумеется вопросов этих может быть и 10, и 20, и более штук, а ведь все тестимониалы не разместишь на одной странице, поэтому лучше всего разместить (на главной или на любой другой, которая подразумевает размещение тестимониалов, например, страница “About Us” или “Our Products” и т.п.) несколько штук, а остальные либо поставить в ротацию, либо ява-скриптом или еще как-нибудь менять их каждые несколько секунд, или же просто разместить их на отдельной странице, на которую поставить ссылку “read more testimonials”. Не ленитесь и не стесняйтесь просить ваших новых партнеров и клиентов писать написать пару строчк о вашей компании, а потом поместите их в общий список: и им приятно, и вам полезно. Вот и второе правило:
- Тестимониалов должно быть много, они должны постоянно обновляться и добавляться, а главное, они должны по возможности отвечаит на различные вопросы вашиз потенциальных клиентов
Ладно, с этим вроде бы разобрались. Теперь нужно определить, кого просить писать тестимониалы, а также в каком виде они должны быть представлены. Важно, чтобы тестимониалы были написаны людьми авторитетными в той области, в которой работает ваш сайт. Надеюсь, не надо объяснять, для чего это нужно. Но не забывайте, что не каждый ваш потенциальный клиент/партнер будет знаком с этими “авторитетами”, поэтому не помешает помимо их имен дать ссылки на их сайты, указать их должности и т.п. Хочу отметить, что огромной ошибкой является указание е-мейлов авторов — это вообще предел идиотизма, как мне кажется.
Мы должны быть реалистами и понимать, что тестимониалы — это полноценный инструмент маркетинга. Тексты тестимониалов должны быть тщательнейшим образом подобраны и проверены на ошибки, качество восприятия, правдоподобность и т.п. Поэтому ничего плохого нет, если вы подредактируете (или даже полностью измените) текст тестимониала, который вам прислал клиент (разумеется, об изменениях его лучше предупредить). Но (!) не забывайте, что тестимониалы должны писаться (вернее подписываться) реальными людьми, иначе пропадает всякий смысл.
Посему, третье правило:
- Тестимониалы должны писаться людьми авторитетными в той области, где работает ваш сайт; они должны сопровождаться информацией об авторе: именем, названием его компании (сайта), указанием его должности и т.п.
И четвертое (последнее) правило:
- Если вы не можете реализовать первые три правила, то лучше вообще откажитесь от тестимониалов
В качестве примера удачного раздела тестимониалов могу привести секцию Vox Populi у Web CEO: красивые тексты, авторитетные люди, видно кто это (даже фотографии есть), какую компанию они представляют, довольно много отзывов. Также мне нравится секция тестимониалов на Click-Click.ru — неплохо сделано, хоть и не без изъянов (великоватой для главной страницы получилась секция).
В качестве неудачного примера могу привести сайт компании Berkshire Life — обратите внимание на раздел “Client Quote” в левой колонке: абсолютно бессмысленный текст, нет подписи, кто это написал. Лучше бы что-нибудь более полезное туда вставили.
К моему огромному разочарованию, сайтов с неудачными тестимониалами в Сети куда больше. Надеюсь, эта статья поможет вам хоть немного изменить эту неприятную статистику.

Поддерживаю, адреса авторов публиковать совсем необязательно. Если авторы являются клиентами, то желающих очернить светлое имя подрядчика всегда будет хоть отбавляй.
И кто занет, кому больше поверит один из клиентов - личному опыту или речам завистника.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
